Happenings at Wisteria

August 1 – Music Under the Arbor from 5 – 7 p.m. – Me & Martha.  This duo are members of America’s Old-Time Country and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame keeping up a family tradition of Appalachian Mountain Music. Me & Martha play American Rural Roots Music which for Me & Martha usually includes: American fiddle tradition, blues, old-time string band, sea shanties and work songs, old-time-country, bluegrass, and contemporary folk ballads.

August 15 – 6th Annual Birthday Party! – 5 – 7 p.m. – Time.  This great local duo blends soaring harmonies, powerful vocals and a passion for music to take listeners on a musical journey through the 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond.  From folk to rock, from doo-wop to the music of the great singer/songwriters.

August 29 – Music Under the Arbor from 5 – 7 p.m. – Greg Ward.  Greg’s electric set is an explosive blend of classic Reggae hits, Motown, Rock, as well as Originals, all with an Island flavor!

Sept. 5 – Pick ‘em & Stomp ‘em  A fun-filled day for all! Come out early (8 a.m.) for the Blessing of the Vines and help harvest our first grapes of the season. Once the grapes have been picked, the stomping begins! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stomp grapes like Lucy or just see the process of turning grapes into wine, this is your chance! We’ll also provide lunch for our volunteers as well as a vertical tasting. The date is dependent on the grapes and Mother Nature, so be sure to check our website for any changes or give us a call a few days ahead of time.
