Rassawek Spring Jubilee Wine & Heritage Festival

The Rassawek Spring Jubilee Wine & Heritage Festival (www.rassawek.com) is one of Virginia’s most unique family-friendly events. The Heritage Show offers activities and demonstrations that are sure to please adventurers of anyage. The Wine Festival features nine Virginia wineries, including Rassawek’s own Byrd Cellars. -- Tracey Leverty

Blacksburg Cork and Fork

The Blacksburg Partnership held the 4th annual Blacksburg Fork and Cork- a food, wine, and art festival, on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at First and Main Shopping District in the heart of Hokie Nation. -- Traci Collins
Amongst much more, this exciting festival featured 18  fantastic Virginia wineries, 20 regional artists, delicious food from 10 local restaurants, and fun bands playing rockin’ tunes.

Bloomin Wine Festival

Revelers "Uncorked the Bloom" at the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Bloomin Wine Fest on Apr 27-28 on the Loudoun Street Walking Mall in historic Old Town Winchester.
Kicking off the 85th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, wine tastings were set up at Hable's Wine Garden and Feltner Wine Garden.

Taste of Monticello

This first-time event certainly drew in the crowds! With a grand tasting, a VIP tasting/dining option, and lots of great music, the NTelos Pavilion in Charlottesville was the place to be on April 21. Proceeds benefitted Jeffersonian Wine Grape Grower’s Society.
Noted winemaker Michael Shaps had a premier position at the entrance, adjacent to sponsor Mercedes-Benz' sleek new car.

Blue Ridge Oyster Festival

The Blue Ridge Oyster Festival took place on April 21 on the grounds of Devil’s Backbone brewery. Watch for us next spring! Proceeds benefit Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Blue Ridge. http://www.blueridgeoysterfest.com -- Nick Attaway

Farmville Wine Festival

The 3rd Annual Farmville Wine Festival, Saturday, April 21, turned out to be a great day at Riverside Park! Plan now to attend next year’s event on Saturday, April 20, 2013...it’ll be bigger & better! Thanks again for all your support for Meals on Wheels!!! -- Cindy Cave
Each adult ticket ($15 advance; $20/gate) included a complimentary “Farmville Wine Festival” wine glass for tasting. (For non-tasters, tickets were $10/each.)

Clarksville Lake Country Wine Festival

In early April of each year we invite you to come out and enjoy the CHEERS of Clarksville’s annual Lake Country Wine Festival in beautiful Clarksville on the Lake. Check our event updates on our website early February at http://www.clarksvilleva.com.
Each year’s event will host 15 Virginia wineries, great food, live music, and the opportunity to see friends and meet many new ones.
