Festival Highlights: Virginia Wine 2012

Annefield Vineyards showed a lovely Chardonnay and Cab Franc.
Greenwood Vineyards' booth was ideally located in a shady corner!
Justin Rose of Rosemont learned the art of winemaking in Napa. The number of fans at his booth shows he mastered the craft very well!
At least 1000 festival goers enjoyed perfect weather, great wine, non-stop live jazz, good food and light shopping!
Brightwood Meadows had a great location near the Performance Stage that featured Longwood University jazz combos.
Thirteen of Virginia’s finest wineries offered samples, and wine for sale by the glass and bottle.
Each adult ticket ($15 advance; $20/gate) included a complimentary “Farmville Wine Festival” wine glass for tasting. (For non-tasters, tickets were $10/each.)
Melissa and Chris Kile poured for Foggy Ridge Cider, the fantastic sparkling hard cider from Dugspur, VA.

In addition to fabulous wine tasting, festival goers had access to two dozen artisans and food vendors.
